In addition to learning thangka-painting of Gardri style from
Marianne van der Horst-Lem, Larissa studied with the Tibetan master of
Gardri style Nawang Dordje and in the Dharamsala traditional school of
thangka-painting Sangye Yeshe (style of Menri).
For a long time Larissa practiced in the Bön Monastery of Menri in India.
For more than two decade years Larissa had been translating the teachings of Marianne
van der Horst-Lem on retreats and served for Marianne, in her words, as a
“beloved translator.”
In addition, Larissa worked as a translator from English to Russian for teachers of Tibetan Buddhism and Bön teachings.
Another area of her interests is the organization of tours to Nepal and
India, as a guide and interpreter — many years of successful experience.
Including possible tours for artists: masterpieces of monastic painting,
architectural and sculpture attractions, etc. Write:
